G'day, I'm Daniel

Founder · Horticulturalist · Victorian Gardener

I've been getting my hands dirty in the garden for nine years, mostly in Victoria's temperate climate. I studied horticulture formally, but my real education came from running a goat and duck farm — where the garden wasn't optional, it was survival.

I built Soil2Bloom because most gardening advice online is written for the Northern Hemisphere — wrong seasons, wrong climate, wrong varieties. Australian gardeners deserve guides that actually work in their backyard, in their climate zone, at the right time of year.

Every article on this site is written for Australian conditions — from the tropical north to the cool temperate south. Whether you're growing tomatoes in Queensland or broad beans in Tasmania, you'll find advice that works.
